Honouring Bees is Where We Began.
Apiary achieves this by placing the well-being of bees at the heart of every design. By turning their homes into works of art, we invite others to see them not just as pollinators, but as sacred companions in the story of nature. Through this union of form and function, we give bees the dignity they deserve and inspire care in those who witness it.
The Dodecahedron
A timeless form revered by ancient geometers, the dodecahedron features 12 pentagonal faces, 30 edges, and 20 vertices, each piece meticulously joined by hand. This sacred geometry, said by Plato to represent the cosmos itself, encloses our sculptural hive in serene elegance. Its walnut-stained frame whispers of refinement, symmetry, and celestial balance, while bees move like stars in orbit.
The Icosahedron
An architectural marvel composed of 6 fivefold axes, 10 threefold axes, and 15 twofold axes, making it the most dynamic of Platonic solids. This form reflects nature’s efficiency, seen in viral shells and water molecules, and invites bees into a sacred dance of precision and beauty. Each facet gleams with craftsmanship, offering both function and sculpture.
The Spiral
A sculptural ode to motion and life, this spiral vessel draws inspiration from the Fibonacci sequence, nature’s silent architect. Designed as a standalone accent or a companion to our geometric hives, this piece brings balance and softness to the architectural collection. It can be placed at entrances, along pathways, or nestled among garden beds, offering versatility in landscape curation.
